Have you ever been with someone, male or female that you had absolutely NO connection with? And no matter how hard you try to create some sort of connecting point, things just never seem to click between you two. I had a client recently who's disposition was so cold that he kind of reminded me of Hitler. A serial hobbyist is a man who patronizes hookers on a regular basis! The serial hobbyist is usually a regular staple on all the major escorting review boards and adult networking sites. He knows everything there is to know about the industry, and is often times well known by most escorts.

"The Pleasure and variety seeker"
This particular serial hobbyist is actually what the majority of them are like. He's a nice and courteous gentleman with an insatiable appetite for variety and pleasure. Most of the escorts that he's been with adore him and speak highly of him amongst other escorts. He's written numerous reviews, he participates in message boards, and he lurks adult websites.
On the down side, the serial hobbyist can be quite annoying at times, especially those who request discounts and specials. He becomes annoying when he begins calling several escorts and haggling rates. He becomes annoying when he begins to use the review sites as a means of getting over on escorts, and we all know those types; the types that tell you that they'll write a great review about you as long as you offer them some sort of discount. What the FUCK ever dude! Overall he's a great guy who helps make this industry thrive so kudos to him!
"The Misogynistic Dark Deviant"
This particular breed of hobbyist is quite common, but not the norm. He's arrogant, quiet, financially stable, and usually patronizes young skinny girls. Although he sees escorts on a regular basis, he actually hates them. This personality trait has been studied by Therapist for years, especially in this industry when girls end up dead or missing. It's usually a serial Hobbyist with this particular personality trait who kills street prostitutes. He's a narcissist with the attitude that he's doing YOU a favor. He's cold, oftentimes quiet and distant. If he's a REAL asshole then he's insulting as well. He doesn't allow himself to enjoy the session because he's not there for the sex. He's actually there for the conquest, the chance to say that he's fucked X-amount of prostitutes. The client that I saw recently probably falls into this category but not as severe. He never allowed himself to relax and get into the session. I almost felt like he was saying to himself..."OK whore, show me what you got"!
For the first time in my career, I became a clock-watcher, praying and hoping for his session to end real soon!
