Hey ladies and gents, I'm back from my fabulous vacation in Paris. Everything was fantastic except the weather, but even that wasn't terrible. It was rainy and cold pretty much like it is in St. Louis, so I actually felt right at home. Unfortunately I caught some sort of flu bug that kept me coughing and aching pretty much my entire visit. I'm really not sure if it was the weather that got me sick, or some sort of germ infestation. Each and every person that accompanied me on this trip now has the flu, and it SUCKS major. Grrrrr....
I will say that the biggest disappointment to my visiting Paris is that majority of the people there are not friendly. They are actually kind of "asshole-ish" which really kept me bummed out. Maybe it's just the language barrier or the whole "Anti-American" sentiment that a majority of them seem to have. I'm desperately trying not to form a negative view of Parisians, but they unfortunately lived up to the stereotype of being rude and unfriendly. I was warned that they were this way...I mean; the 1st thing Americans learn about traveling to Paris is that the people are rude and unfriendly.
Rude has become synonymous with the Parisian people I guess.
Overall my vacation was FABULOUS, and the group of Americans that accompanied me, made me feel at home and comfortable. So for that.... I am truly grateful!
I'll write more about my trip later, and also post new photos!
Here is one to tie you over...
