I'm so glad that Christmas and the Holidays are virtually over for me, so now I can get back to my "regularly scheduled programming". Don't get me wrong, I love the Holidays and spending time with my family and friends, but it's those frantic two week before the holidays that gets my nerves boiling. All the malls are filled from wall to wall with shoppers and screaming kids. Not to mention the list of expensive shit that my 6 year old son gave me to give to Santa. How fun!!
So, there I was in every Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Target, and Circuit City, searching high and low for the ever holiday elusive Nintendo Wii. Someone please explain to me why it was so important that I got this $300 game for my little evil genius? Unfortunately for him, my procrastination leads to a huge disappointment, because it was practically sold out everywhere. Bummer for him, but great for my pockets!
None the less, my Christmas Eve and Christmas was fantastic, and Santa was really good to this ole gal this year. I got some "bling" from my parents, along with some other great stuff that I wanted. My Grandmother paid for my yearly membership to Curves which was AWESOME! So now I don't have to worry about that $45.00/month, (sweet)!
2008 is definitely going to be a busy yet fantastic year. I can feel it! I said that I was going to make a few changes that would hopefully affect my business positively, and NO I'm not raising my rates. They are definitely going to be changes that my clients will love. I owe them this! It's the least I can do to show my appreciation!
Stay tuned for more details. |
